Velvet slot insert sized to the specific band width and stone height. Interior fabric ceiling to frame the stone from above. Exterior: soft-touch matte with gold foil stamping.
2. Fashion and costume jewellery ring: Folding carton ring box in 18pt SBS coated board. Foam slot insert in white or black. Matte or gloss lamination. Full-color CMYK print. Clean, retail-friendly format for shelf or counter display.
3. Wedding band (stackable or plain band): Low-profile ring box with a flat foam channel insert rather than a raised slot suited to bands without a stone. Drawer box or pillow box format for a differentiated opening experience.
4. Ring gift set (two or more rings): Multi-slot rigid box with individual ring holds positioned symmetrically. Magnetic closure lid. Interior velvet lining. Exterior: coordinated brand print with foil mark.
5. Retail display ring box: Hinged display box that stands open at 90 degrees on a counter fixture. Ring slot insert positions the ring upright and forward-facing. Clean front print surface with brand mark at lid face.

Why Manufacturing Precision Matters in a Ring Box

A ring box has fewer components than most packaging formats. Consequently, every component is under direct scrutiny. The slot insert must hold the ring at exactly the right height — go too deep and the stone partially hides when the lid opens, go too shallow and the ring tips forward on opening. The hinge must have enough resistance to open in a single controlled arc,  a loose hinge produces a lid that drops open uncontrolled, which is the worst possible reveal for a precision-purchase moment.
